The school offers the students of classes IX and X the Senior Programme that they study in classes IX and X for the The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) which is an examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination.
Candidates appearing for the examination have to study six subjects, with one to three papers in each subject. This makes for a total of eight to eleven papers, depending on the subjects. ICSE results are taken from best five of six subjects out of which English marks is compulsory.
Our school offers students the streams that they can explore in future from the time they enter class 9. Students have the freedom to choose subjects they like and enjoy studying and make a career out of it.
Groups offered at class IX are:
- Group 1 (Compulsory) : English, II Language, History & Civics, Geography.
- Group 2 (Any 2 subjects) : Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Commercial Studies, Economics, Environmental Science.
- Group 3 (Any 1 Subject) : Computer Application, Physical Education, Cookery, Art, Yoga, Environmental Application, Commercial Application, Economics Application.
Junior College (Classes XI and XII)
The school is pleased to announce its permanent affiliation to the Council for Introduction of ISC Classes from the academic year 2020 onwards and becoming the first ISC school in Tirupur district. This is the first year that our students will be joining the junior college after appearing for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE).
The ISC is after a two-year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) examination or its equivalent examination.
Admission to Class XI is provisional till the results of the ICSE Examination are declared. Students not qualifying in the ICSE Examination will automatically not be eligible to continue with the ISC (XII) course.
Candidates who have been awarded Pass Certificates in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination with passes in five subjects including English are eligible to be admitted for preparation in courses of study leading to the Indian School Certificate Examination.
All candidates for the Pass Certificate must enter and sit for English (compulsory), with three, four or five elective subjects and must have been evaluated internally by the School and secure a pass grade in Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service (compulsory).
